Aleksandar Vuco Beograd 1897 – 1985 1897. Rodjen je u trgovackoj porodici, a najmladj i brat mu je bio Nikola Vuco. 1915. Pridruzio se srpskoj vojsci, kao dobrovoljac, u povlacenju preko Albanije. 1916. Zavrsio je gimnaziju u Nici i upisao Pravni fakultet u Parizu. 1920. Vencao se sa Julkom Simeonovic u Parizu. 1921–1922. Dobili su dva sina, Djordja i Jovana, koji su kasnije fotografisani za knjigu Podvizi druzine "Pet petlica." 1923. Saradjivao je u casopisu Putevi, a zatim u Svedocanstvima. 1926. Objavio je poemu Krov nad prozorom. 1928. Napisao je roman Koren vida. 1929. Izdao je knjigu Ako se jos jednom setim ili nacelo. 1930. Bio je jedan od osnivaca beogradske grupe nadrealista i potpisnik manifesta, a pored M. Ristica i D. Matica i urednik almanaha Nemoguce–Læimpossible. Objavio je tu pored poezije i scenario za film Ljuskari na prsima. 1931–1932. Saradjivao je u casopisu Nadrealizam danas i ovde. U Politici je objavljivao priloge pod pseudonimom Askerland. 1932. Objavio je poeme Nemenikuce – Cirilo i Metodije. Izasla je mu je i knjiga poezije Humor zaspalo. Sa L. Vuco i R. Zivanovicem Noem organizovao je izlozbu nadrealizma u Umetnickom paviljonu "Cvijeta Zuzoric" u Beogradu. 1933. Sa D. Maticem napisao je knjigu za decu Podvizi druzine "Pet petlica." 1935. Zajedno sa D. Maticem objavio je poemu Marija Rucara. 1936–1940. Bio je urednik casopisa Nasa stvarnost. 1940. Sa D. Maticem izdao je roman Gluvo doba. 1941. Izvesno vreme je proveo u Banjickom logoru u Beogradu. 1945–1954. Objavio je poeme Titovi pioniri, Mastodonti, roman Raspust i mnoga druga dela. 1947–1960. Radio je kao upravnik filmskog preduzeca Jugoslavija, a onda i kao direktor Zvezda filma i Avala filma.
